The tax rates and tax laws used to compute the amount are those that are enacted or substantively enacted by the reporting date. Deferred tax assets and liabilities are measured at the tax rate that is expected to apply to the period when the asset is realised or the liability is settled based on the enacted tax rate at the reporting date.Deferred income taxA deferred tax charge is provided, using the liability method, on all temporary diferences between the tax bases of assets and liabilities and their carrying amounts for fnancial reporting purposes at the reporting date.The carrying amount of deferred income tax assets is reviewed at each reporting date and reduced to the extent that it is no longer probable that sufcient taxable proft will be available to allow all or part of the deferred income tax asset to be utilised. Unrecognised deferred income tax assets are re-assessed at each reporting date and are recognised to the extent that it has become probable that future taxable proft will allow the deferred tax to be recovered.Deferred tax relating to items recognised outside proft or loss is recognised outside proft or loss.
