Revenues for the year totalled $97.9M, a slight decrease of $1.4M or 1% over 2023, which stood at $99.3M.The challenges we faced in 2024 were similar to those of 2023, with continuing pressure from shrinking advertising budgets and disruptions in the digital market. However, our management team worked tirelessly to adapt to the evolving local market. We focused on refining our multi-media revenue models, optimizing business operations, managing controllable costs, and reducing inefficiencies all aimed at enhancing shareholder value.A key milestone for the year was the continued success of our One Newsroom, which solidified its dominant presence across both traditional media and digital platforms. With CNC3 leading the charge, we seized several opportunities to provide international coverage, offering a Trinidad and Tobago and Caribbean perspective on global issues. Additionally, our team launched the Guardians of the People segment, which resonated deeply with our audience and supported meaningful causes. Our radio stations continued to build on strong partnerships with premier events, enabling our loyal listeners to connect with their favourite on-air personalities. We also broadcasted the ICC Cricket World Cup and produced our flagship productions Spellbound and Make Your Point, which strengthened our relationships with key corporate players and provided valuable content in the realms of education, communications, and entertainment for future generations. In recognition of our efforts GML was honoured with four major awards at the prestigious Telecommunications and Broadcasting Industry Awards 2024, including Innovative Broadcaster, Innovative Service Offering, Technological Disruptor, and Radio for our People.Despite industry challenges, our business transformation initiatives have helped us navigate the tough landscape. We remain confident that GML is wellpositioned for the future. Our balance sheet metrics are strong, and our capital levels remain resilient. The Board of Directors is pleased to announce a final ordinary dividend of 4 cents per share (2023 nil). Preference shareholders will receive a final dividend of 3%.
